The objectives of the GSHRC shall be:
To educate handlers, breeders, owners and the general public and to encourage / promote quality in breeding and field-testing of sporting dogs.
To protect and advance the interest of hunting retrievers through education and encourage sportsman like participation at field tests.
To conduct training sessions, sanctioned and licensed field events under the rules of Granite State HRC and AKC.
To promote the use of trained retrievers as a conservation tool in an effort to preserve and improve wildlife habitats.
To perpetuate the grand sport of water fowling.
